Sound will be the medicine of the future.
— Edgar Cayce

SOUND HEALING JOURNEYS are a great way to get “in tune” with yourself by helping to clear out and harmonize the chaotic energy of everyday life, past trauma, and unhealthy thinking, while creating a mindful heart centered stillness. They will transform the physiology of your entire vibrational existence (spirit, mind, body) allowing you to relax, truly heal on a Soul level, and find a deep connection within yourself.

With conscious intention and breath, we can harmonize systems, create healing space within by increasing our Life Force, Ki (Qi, Chi, Prana) energy flow, and actually move out the mental, physical, and emotional blocks that need to be processed, healed, and released. We can rewrite the stories of our experience with new perspective, change the cellular memory of events, and rewire the energetic signature of our DNA.

If you want to know the secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. — Nikola Tesla.

Our intention is to align with our highest potential by raising your vibration and awareness on all levels so that you sustain a stable higher vibration in your daily life rooted in love and inspiration. Having a strong Life Force flow will allow you to be healthy, maintain emotional balance, hold space for others, and emit a positive frequency transmuting lower vibrations and patterns of thinking.

This 90-minute sacred ceremony starts with breath work and vocal toning, which will allow you to journey even deeper during your sound bath experience. Each participant will create a comfortable space using a yoga/camping mat, pillows and blankets, and lie on one’s back with head toward the direction of the sound instruments.

During this transcending sound healing journey, Caressa, with the wisdom of Light and sound frequency healing, uses a collection of instruments creating a cosmic symphony of Tibetan metal and 432hz crystal bowl vessels; Fibonacci tuning forks, melodic voice, drums, rhythmic breathing, and more. These instruments emit different healing tone frequencies bathing you in the vibrations of soothing sonic resonance that create harmony, which restores and realigns the body and soul, and can even shift one into altered states of consciousness. Sound Healing Journeys will drop you into your heart, provide inner peace, and bring you into the present moment. Caressa is known for her unique angelic voice alone being a powerful medicine.

Each will receive individual, as well as group healing, with the instruments played. We conclude ceremony with sharing experiences, feelings, or inspirational thoughts.

BENEFITS ~ Our bodies relax, breath deepens, and we move into a receptive state where deep healing can occur. Some experiences may include:

*Expanded states of consciousness

*Feeling of a Soul massage

*Quieting of the mind

*Leave feeling ‘re-tuned’, restored and rebalanced

*Heightened capacity for empathy, awareness, and higher guidance

*Personal transformation

*Emotional balance and mental stability; helps PTSD

*Promotes deep sleep

*Increased mental focus, clarity, and cognitive function

* Helpful for learning disabilities

*Stress reduction – and the reduction of its accompanying hormones, cortisol and epinephrine. These hormones, in excess, lead to degeneration of the body’s vital systems.

*Relief from physical pain

*Release toxins, undigested memories, and emotions

*Healing of grief and deep emotional trauma

*Reduces anxiety and depression

*Deep relaxation and inner peace

*Manifest greater abundance

*Turns on our parasympathetic nervous system (our relaxation response)

*Decrease in heart rate and blood pressure

*Increase in immune cell messengers and boost of natural endorphins

*Gain deeper wisdom and ‘Know Thyself’

*Overall self balance

*Greater Self-Love and meaningful relationships

WHAT TO BRING ~
Bring yoga/camping mat, LOTS of pillows, and blankets to create a comfy space for this relaxing experience. *If you have lower back troubles, it is suggested to also bringing pillow or bolster to place under knees.

Drink plenty of water throughout the day previous to journey, but not directly beforehand so that you may remain in stillness without running to restroom. Sound waves carry on water, and the more hydrated you are, the more likely the frequencies will have a penetrating effect.

Best not to have a heavy meal or caffeine directly before sound healing.

History and Scientific Studies —

WHY IS GROUP SOUND HEALING POWERFUL?

Healing sessions done with groups has a synergistic effect and is an example of physics explanation of entanglement and entrainment. In biology, synergistic effects are the effects when chemical substances or biological structures interact resulting in a cumulative overall effect that is greater than the sum of individual effects of any of them.

Let’s look at the example of two guitars. If you pluck the A string on one guitar, the A string is going to vibrate on the other guitar. It is called harmonic resonance. That is only two guitars, how about 10 or more people? It is the same thing. People are tuned like guitars.

Sound healing is a form of healing that work even better in a group because when you build up the resonance and harmony in a group, there is what is called a crowd effect or crowd psychology, and the energy is increased in magnitude with size of the crowd.

Another example of this is called constructive interference, where two (or more) energies come together and enhance each other. One person being healed is influencing another person in the process of being healed. They are sending energy back and forth because the very law of physics is that all atoms give off energy and all atoms absorb energy. Therefore, since we are made of atoms, not only are we giving off an energy, we can also receive this energy from someone else. So group healing can be very powerful.

WHY SOUND HEALING?

Harmony is a natural state and the root of health. The body is a system like a whole orchestra working together. As an organic electrical instrument, we each have our part in the planetary and cosmic symphony. When our bodily instrument is in harmony, we can be in harmony with the flow of all life.

Stress is a disharmony. The American Psychological Association has recognized that 90% of illness is attributed to stress. Harmonious sounds have a healing effect on the body at a cellular level and allows the stress to seep out of the system. Music and sound that expresses a nice flow of harmonic resonance entrains you. Meaning the body naturally remembers and is reminded of the harmony within itself. It also causes the mind to stop the useless chatter, and calm down in order to flow in harmony bringing one back into a very natural healthy state. How do you reduce stress and boost your immune system for greater overall well-being? Find yourself in an environment that expresses harmony.

Cells have vibrational memories and just have to be reminded to release and balance themselves. — Renee Brodie

How does energy communicate? Energy communicates with energy. Vibrational frequencies, sound and light, and electromagnetic fields are all forms of vibrational energy. Our thoughts and emotions also are vibrational energy. That is the language that our atoms respond to because they themselves are energy. Every atom gives off light and energy and every atom absorbs light and energy. This is a fundamental law of physics.

“Our immune system functions more effectively when we are happy and creative, and affects every cell in our body when its energy flow is harmonious. When we feel out-of-sorts or unwell, the cells of the immune system do not ‘ring true’, and this will affect every part of us. Cells have vibrational memories and just have to be reminded to release and balance themselves.” ~ Renee Brodie, Author of The Healing Tones of Crystal Bowls

Sound produces measurable vibratory feelings throughout the body, depending upon the frequency and amplitude of the sound used. Certain sounds most likely have a healing influence upon the body because they influence the geometric patterns and organization of cells and living systems.” ~ According to Dr. Richard Gerber’s, Traditional Chinese medical (TCM) practitioner, Vibrational Medicine book

ANCIENT CULTURES ~

Intention, thought, vibration, hands on healing, and music is a long time way of healing understood by many ancient cultures. Science is now rediscovering and proving the legitimacy of Biological systems having a preference for a harmonious vibrational signal.

Long ago shamans recognized the power of sound when they first used chants and drumming to heal people. In ancient Egypt, Greece, and India, the use of sound and music for healing was a highly developed sacred science. Sonic vibration has been one way of experiencing the energy of the universe for much of humanity’s history.

Ancient healing systems such as Jin Shin Jyutsu, Chinese medicine, and Indian Ayurveda associate specific musical notes with subtle-energy systems of the body, such as in yoga where particular notes of music correspond to each of the seven chakras. In Tibet, priests have long used bells and bowls over and around the body to tune and clear the energy centers.

In Hinduism, chant and mantras with Sanskrit sounds have been long understood to have a positive effect on balancing the system and heighten conscious awareness.

The Aboriginal people of Australia, were the first known culture to heal with sound, and used the didgeridoo as a healing tool. Although an ancient instrument, its sounds are in alignment with modern technology. The Aborigines healed illnesses, muscle tears, and broken bones, using this mystifying instrument.

In Native American culture, music plays an integral role in the life. It is used for ceremonial purposes, recreation, expression, and healing. There are many different instruments used when making Native American music, including drums, flutes, and other percussion instruments. Perhaps the most important element of their music is the voice.

According to the American Indian Heritage Foundation (AIHF), “ Unusual, irregular rhythms and a somewhat off-key style of singing are used. No harmony is ever incorporated, although sometimes many people sing at once, and other times the vocals are solo. The Native American vocals are passionate, used to invoke spirits, ask for rain or healing, or are used to heal the sick.”

AIHF states that “many researchers feel that Native American music is some of the most complex ever performed. The tensing and releasing of the vocals combined with varying drum beats make it a very intricate form of art.

In Ancient Egypt, toning sacred vowel sounds with breath and voice created a therapeutic harmonic chant/convergence and was used in temples. John Stuart Reid’s acoustics research in the pyramids has provided strong evidence that the Egyptians designed their chapels and burial chambers to be reverberant in order to enhance sonic-based ceremonies.

In a letter from Asklepios to King Amman [he says]: ‘As for us, we do not use simple words but sounds all filled with power.’ The Egyptians believed that vowel sounds were sacred, so much so that their written hieroglyphic language contains no vowels. A Greek traveler, Demetrius, circa 200 B.C., wrote that the Egyptians used vowel sounds in their rituals: ‘In Egypt, when priests sing hymns to the Gods, they sing the seven vowels in due succession and the sound has such euphony that men listen to it instead of the flute and the lyre.’

Egyptian priestesses used sistra, a type of musical rattle instrument with metal discs that generates copious amounts of ultrasound.

SOME SOUND STUDY ~

The growing research surrounding sound healing suggests that meditative music and sound frequencies can help ease anxiety and reduce pain as well as improve a magnitude of other issues associated with physical and mental health.

According to Rudolf Steiner, vowel sounds such as AA, AH, EEE, I (eye), OH, OOO, are the sounds of the soul and connects the soul with the body. The voice is pure vibration. It reveals a spectrum of physical, psychological, mental and energetic patterns that either allow or prevent resonance in the physical body and energy body. Informed by the principle of entrainment, the sound of our voice is the most efficient delivery system for harmonic food needed to restore resonance and vitality to the cells.

According to Dr Cole, Chairman of the Aquathought Foundation, swimming with dolphins can create physiological cell and tissue change in the body. He explains that dolphins have a natural sonar, called echolocation. They emit ultrasound waves to communicate. Sounds emitted by the dolphins are so intense that they can cause cavitations creating holes in the molecular structure of fluids and soft tissues. Cole believes that the dolphins’ signal frequencies can have a profound effect on the human brain by modifying the brainwave activity. Results of EEG tests carried out on people who experienced the echolocation showed that the dominant human brain frequency drops from beta to alpha. It was also noted that both sides of the brain enter into synchronization which means there is a far better communication between the left and right sides of the brain, this is an uncommon neurological state, which is typically associated with heightened awareness and increased learning ability.

“Since the human body is over 70% water and since sound travels five times more efficiently through water than through air, sound frequency stimulation directly into the body is a highly efficient means for total body stimulation, especially at the cellular level. Direct stimulation of living cellular tissue using sound frequency vibration has shown marked cellular metabolism and therefore a possible mobilization of a cellular healing response.” — Jeffrey Thompson, D.C., director for the Center for Neuroacoustic Research at the California Institute for Human Science.

A clinical study by Mona Liza Chanda and Daniel J Levetin, examined the neurochemistry of music and found that sound was a powerful tool to regulate mood and increase well-being. Sound hits all of the neurochemical systems for “reward, motivation, pleasure, stress, arousal, immunity, and social affiliation,” according to their article published in 2013.

Fabien Maman, a French composer and bioenergeticist, has begun to explore and document the specific influence on cells of sound wave energies. He found that the most visibly dramatic results of the effects of sound on the human cell came about when he sang musical scales into uterine cancer cells: “The structure disorganized extremely quickly. The human voice carries something in its vibration that makes it more powerful than any musical instrument: consciousness. It appeared that the cancer cells were not able to support a progressive accumulation of vibratory frequencies. As soon as I introduced the third frequency [human voice] in the sequence, the cells began to destabilize.” — The Role of Music in the Twenty-first Century

“The body is held together by sound, and the presence of disease indicates that some sounds are out of tune. Primordial sound is the mysterious link that holds the universe together in a web that is the quantum field.” — Dr. Deepak Chopra, founder of the Chopra Center for Well-Being

According to Oncologist Mitchell Gaynor, M.D., “Crystal sound energy therapy is the future of modern medicine. It offers the same benefits for conditions of the body as some prescription drugs. Vibrations from crystal sound resonate the nervous system, transforms brain states and effectively treat stress, depression, sleep disorders, Alzheimer and cancer.”

Dr. Herbert Benson, M.D., of the Mind/Body Medical Institute at Boston’s Deaconess Medical Center, having studied the effects of chanting mantras on human physiology, found that repeating a single syllable or word produced measurable changes in energy consumption, respiration rate, heartbeat, metabolic rate and pulse, as well as an increase in alpha brain waves.

The above information is just some of the study being done. Today there is much more and growing!

We are slowed down sound and light waves, a walking bundle of frequencies tuned into the cosmos. We are souls dressed up in sacred biochemical garments and our bodies are the instruments through which our souls play their music. — Albert Einstein
